This tutorial is a looking using the two shadows by Nars in 'Night Sun' and 'California'. I reviewed and swatched the shadows here: http://vintageporcelaindoll.blogspot.com/2011/10/review-of-nars-night-sun-and-california.html

They are gorgeous colors for fall and together they make a stunning combination. To see my tutorial, please visit my Youtube video showing step by step how to achieve the look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6oaWNK299Y&feature=channel_video_title

What initially attracted me to these two shades was the price. At an astoundingly low price of $8 (originally $23), I had to get these. They're full size, and at 2.2 grams they are slightly larger than MAC's 1.5 gram eyeshadows. 'California' is a coppery orange, and is extremely pigmented. It has a slight shimmer to it, but does not contain any heavy glitter. 'Night Sun' on the other hand is a soft yellow with shimmer and bold chunks of glitter. The glitter is unlike any glitter I've seen from other eyeshadow brands. It is a part of the Nars 'Night series' which contains a range of glittery eyeshadows. If you dislike glitter and the potential of fallout, this eyeshadow is not for you. However, if you use a brush similar to the MAC 239 brush, you can pack the glitter on with minimal fallout. In conclusion, these eyeshadows are a bargain simply because they are eyeshadows by the legendary Nars. If you have yet to try their shadows, give these a go and try them out. I think they're worth every penny and have amazing color payoff.

You can find these exclusively at www.sephora.com, and if you're interested don't hesitate to purchase these as I'm sure they will sell out.
